Today I changed the layout of singers_female. I really wanted to do that for months and I also want be a lot more active there than I used to and try to promote the community... somewhere somehow.
Plus... I haven't made any icons for ages accept the ones of Tori Amos (posted at the community) in may...

I reduced my projects to a minimum cause there comes a day when you feel that you don't want to concentrate on too many things especially online. I wanted to get rid of those projects that weren't a pleasure anymore.
After closing my Shakira site (I told you about that I believe) I thought I should give up the forum, too. Closing would have been mean so I wanted to search a new owner and there were applicants but we (my admin/mods) and me could decide cause none of the applicants was "perfect". One wanted to earn money, another one just wanted to pay for it (domain/webspace/forum license), another one wanted to change it etc.
So, I'm still the owner but I'm on "member" status right now. However I'm like an invisible admin and if something goes wrong I can take care of it. But I have a very good admin and a new but responsible moderator so I don't think I have to pay much attention.The forum license was paid by some members... I had a license before but decided to use my lifetime license for another board (coming soon) and therefore a new licence had to be registered. Invision Board does not have any lifetime licenses anymore so it was 150$ for a 6 months license... the board can be used after that but no more updates are included (except serious security bugs). But so many members wanted to give 5 euros, 10 euros.. so that we already have enough money for 2 more 6 months licences (25$ for each one).

I also told Dennis that I will no longer care of the english applications for 4fans.net. I helped him since the beginning in 2003. We decided together whether to host a site or not. Since 2005 I believe I was responsible for all english applications cause he's not that good in english but we really wanted to host international fansites. It was a pain in the ass cause I had to reject like 99% of all applications cause the sites were so bad. And the other 1% was good enough and accepted but never used our service cause of whatever reasons.
It wasn't much fun for months and really depressing when you know that there are like a million great english websites but only the beginners applied at 4fans.net. It sucks.

I removed myself from the maintainers of kellyfamily. Not because I don't like the Kellys anymore... I will post my Kelly related things there in future but I always want to give 100% (at least I plan to give 100% ;) ) and although I know that there's not much to do for this community I felt like I wouldn't pay this community enough attention as it deserves.

So my projects are reduced to shakiraforum.de, singers_female, honestworker.de (I'm extremely lazy when it comes to updates and such though + the site needs a new layout...really), this journal, my myspace and last.fm profiles which need at least some maintainance now and then and notimetowaste.org which is a blog at the moment but should become a personal website sooner or later with info about me, my graphics... and I wanna have a board. A board for everything... lifestyle, music, graphics and such. I'm still admin at 4fans.net forum BUT I don't post as much as I used to cause it's not like I want to maintain a board. Basically I don't have to do anything for it accept for deleting some porn spam and the forum works without much moderation. And Dennis thinks it's fine like that without any rules or regulations with people asking the same questions a thousand times and requesting opinions for their layouts, graphics & pictures but are too lazy to review other peoples things. That sucks. So yes, I want my board. :P It will be German though... sorry. :)

I guess that's it for today, I'm too tired to tell you what else happened since april... ;)
